Dr. Robert Bruce Salter passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010. Dr. Salter was 86 years old. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995 as one of the most esteemed surgeons in the world with accomplishments too numerous to mention. Dr. Salter was an Honourary Board Member of the CMHF having actively served on the board from 1999 - 2005. Dr. Salter’s interest and enthusiasm for the Hall of Fame never wavered – many will remember him delivering grace at a number of our induction ceremonies.

Dr. Salter has brought tremendous pride to our organization over the years and he will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with his wife, Robina, and the entire Salter family.
