Approximately six weeks prior to each Discovery Day, information packages are faxed or emailed to applicable area secondary schools.  Packages are directed to the Department Head of Guidance or Science.  Please contact us to confirm your school is on our distribution list.

Each high school is invited to select students who they feel would benefit from a day of learning about the health sciences and health professions. The students may not have a clear career path in mind, but should demonstrate strengths in relevant subject areas. The number of students we can accommodate for any given Discovery Day depends upon the workshop capacity of that event.

Each school must appoint a contact teacher who will register the school online for a particular Discovery Day.  Go to our lineup, click on the event of interest and then scroll to the bottom of the event page for a link to the School Registration webform.  Our system will notify us of your school's registration.  This process generates a link which is unique to your school and to the particular event you have selected.  Students will need this link to register online.  The link, along with further details, will be emailed to you within a couple of days of your submission.  If, however, you do not receive an email within 5 business days please call The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame:  519-488-2003.
