Spotlight on CMHF Award Recipient: Dr. Lauren Capozzi
Dr. Lauren Capozzi is a Cancer Physiatrist and the Provincial Medical Director of Cancer Rehabilitation at BC Cancer. Dr. Capozzi is the first Cancer Physiatrist to join the organization and is leading the development of an interdisciplinary team of cancer rehabilitation professionals across the province. She is spearheading the implementation of cancer rehabilitation clinics within BC Cancer sites and conducts research on screening and pathways to ensure patients access the right rehabilitation services at the right time. Dr. Capozzi is also the 2017 University of Calgary CMHF Award Recipient.
