N. Ndubuka


Dr. Ndubuka is a Certified Physician Executive with over 20 years of management and executive-level experience in healthcare. He currently serves as a public health physician and medical health officer with the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, where he leads the implementation of public health programs in First Nation communities across Northern Saskatchewan. Through his ongoing advocacy efforts focused on social determinants of health, anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion, Dr. Ndubuka is committed to improving population health and well-being in Saskatchewan.

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, where he is actively involved in medical education, research, and academic leadership.

His commitment to leadership and good governance has led him to serve on several boards, including the Saskatchewan Medical Association, Prince Albert Youth Soccer Association and SGI Canada. Dr. Ndubuka is the President of the Black Physicians of Canada and past president of the Canadian Association of Nigerian Physicians and Dentists.

In recognition of his contributions to community service, sports, education, and volunteerism, Dr. Ndubuka received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Award twice in 2023.
